Vision & Values
Vision
It is important as a club to understand who we are and what we are setting out to achieve.
A clear motivation for me as President, and also our elected Committee, is to bring the fun back into football. We also need to create an opportunity for sustained success which will carry the Club forward, and to provide the platform for years to come. A broader engagement with the Caulfield Grammarians Football Club community is critical, as is sharing the load of what needs to be done with my fellow Committee members, who all have great skills to achieve our outcomes.
Goals
We have established five goals for the future. We have not placed any time frames on achieving these goals, as they should be used as an overarching guide for the Club to take itself forward.
- To achieve sustained success on and off the field and provide the platform for years to come.
- To create an environment that supports, nurtures and rewards players, to be the best they can be.
- To be a Club that we are proud of and people want to belong to
- To have fun.
- To create a path for CGS members to continue their football (men and women) post their time at school.
It is evident that we need to expand on our player and support-base, enhance its diversity and attract new sponsors. Our existing sponsors have been fantastic: exceptionally loyal and giving. However, to create sustained success, new sponsors need to be found, and new ways to involve people need to be identified.
