A huge weekend in the history of the Caulfield Grammarians Football Club commences tomorrow, as North Melbourne champions Glenn Archer and Anthony Stevens pull on the blue and white Caulfield Grammarians jumper. Playing against Old Melbourne at Junction Oval, and with the bounce at 2pm, it's a crucial clash for the hopes of Caulfield this year. The team is:
Hyland, C.Sinclair, Widjaja, T.Sundberg, Foote, Slevison, Hammond, Lawson, Evans, Carboni, Wood, Stewart, Winter, Strain, Noblett, Pennycuick, Daly, Game, M.Sundberg, Archer, Stevens
Before the greats join our great club, the reserves strut their stuff on the ground that once was home to VFL clubs, as they try to notch up their second victory. After a better return last week, Coach Lawson will be looking to improve on that and kick-start a winning day for the Fields. The line-up starting at 11am is:
Garood, Scott, Beveridge, Fagan, Bowes, Murphy, Sessler, Wearne, Wolkow, Kalaja, Scroth, McCahon, Edwards, Gross, Hall, Franklin, Hooper, Royle, May, A.Sinclair, Picking, Dorman
The Under-19's were blown away in last week's top of the table match with Ormond, and tomorrow face Old Mentonians at home at 2pm. The side will be boosted by the CGFC debuts of Clay Johnston and David Hyman. The squad looking to rebound from last week's loss is:
Lamont, Kremmer, Tobias, Reid, Allanson, A.Ford, Baker, B.Price, Spinks, Rowsthorn, O'Keefe, Whitford, Eke, McGlashan, Tamblyn, Nelson, McArdle, Johnston, Elrington, McCahon, M.Price, Hyman
The Clubbies precede the 19's, with the bounce set for 11.40am at Glenhuntly Park. Playing the second top side will be a tough ask, but if anyone is up to the challenge it's the Club XVIII. Their side is:
L.Franklin, Sheppard, Gard, Farmer, Chapple, Loetje, Barbarczy,, Cassidy, Pitts, Fisher, Temby, Frazer, Spittal, Cossart-Walsh, Chaplin, R.Saunder, Cunliffe, T Hammond, Patterson, Conly, King, Brown, Dawson, T Vohmann, A Vohmann, Calender
Go Fields!
