Round 7 Preview PDF Print E-mail

We're almost at the halfway point of the season, and it's important that Round 7 sees victories to all Caulfield Grammarian teams to ensure that we remain in the hunt for finals positions. Of most importance is the massive clash between the Seniors and St.Bernards, a powerhouse of the competition. It will take a huge effort from the Fields to knock them off, but hopefully a different team turns up to Glenhuntly Park tomorrow afternoon than what did last week at Old Camberwell. The team to start at 2pm tomorrow is:

Hyland, C.Sinclair, Widjaja, T.Sundberg, Slevison, Foote, Hammond, Lawson, Evans, Carboni, Wood, Stewart, Winter, Strain, Noblett, Pennycuick, Royle, May, Daly, Game, M.Sundberg, D.Kellaway

Before the Seniors strut their stuff, the Reserves kick-off the Ladies Day at Glenhuntly, also coming up against St.Bernards. They will be searching for a win that can lift them off the bottom of the ladder. The Reserves line-up is:

Garood, Scott, Beveridge, Gates, Fagan, Poulter, Bowes, Chapple, Murphy, Sessler, Wearne, Wolkow, Kalaja, Scroth, McCahon, Edwards, Gross, Cannell, Hall, Franklin, Hooper

Another big game on the weekend can be seen at E.E.Gunn Reserve at 2pm when the Under-19's will be looking to knock off the undefeated Ormond and claim top spot. With five consecutive wins under their belts, confidence is sky-high within the camp. Chris Mathieson's side for tomorrow is:

McCahon, Tamblyn, Kremmer, Lamont, Allanson, Spinks, Baker, B.Price, A.Ford, Rowsthorn, Penberthy, O'Keefe, Eke, McGlashan, Elrington, Nelson, McArdle, Tobias, M.Price, Meredith, Whitford, Reid

The barnstorming, all-conquering Clubbies will be out with as much gusto as usual when they combat Fiztroy at Ramsden Street Oval, starting at 11.40am tomorrow morning.  Their season hasn't quite mirrored that of the dominance of the Geelong Cats in the big league, but it's never too late to register a win, and that's exactly what they Club XVIII will be striving for. The team named to tackle Fitzroy is:

Franklin, Sheppard, Loetje, Brown, Cossart-Walsh, Alibrando, Fisher, Cunliffe, Barbarzcy, Pitts, Weghorn, Farmer, Farrell, Chaplin, Frazer, R.Saunders, Rudd, Hammond, T.Vohmann, A.Vohmann, Gargano, King, Gard, Patterson, Barton

 Go Fields!
