Don't let the title of this Blog lead you astray, this isn't going to be about dogs, cats, pets, lizards, and hermit crabs (possibly the most pathetic of pets). No, this is all about every man and his dog turning up on Saturday night, at the Progressive Dinner. As the Blog hasn't attended a Progressive yet, I don't quite know what to expect, apart from loads of fun. Well I would hope so anyway.

It was another humiliating defeat on Saturday and we will leave it at that. I don't really want to bring it up again, and I'm sure nobody else who saw the game will either. It doesn't leave us with a lot to talk about though. Ummmmm, any suggestions on topics? Shall we talk about the Labor Government's state budget? How about that television show Dexter, where the good guy is a serial killer? How about Matthew Lloyd's penchant for Bacardi Breezers? Or the big question, the biggest of big questions, it's that big it puts the big in bigot...Will the new Indiana Jones movie be as good as the others? I'll leave it to you Grammarians.

I really don't have much to talk about in this blog so I'll leave it at that. Every man and his Blog needs to turn up at Glenhuntly Park on Saturday for our first home game of this season. It's a massive return, about as big as Tony Mokbel's, when he  is finally  extradited back to Australia. Speaking of returns, I need to return to the drawing board, as this Blog has been extremely average. I apologise. But Blog's are like life, full of peaks and troughs. Like my football side, CGFC, the Blog is currently struggling through a trough.
