Yes, you read it correctly - a victory! And a good one at that, Caulfield coming from behind at three quarter time to post a strong win over St.Kevins. In this blog, I'm going to talk about the important things in the world, such as the Tibet crisis, traffic congestion, the 2020 Summit, and Slevinson's busted face. Well I'm not really, wouldn't that be boring? And no, that wasn't an attempt at a Rudd-rhetorical question. Are you happy with the Caulfield Grammarians win on the weekend, Prime Minister Rudd? 'Well if you're asking me whether I'm happy with the Caulfield Grammarians win on the weekend, then I would have to answer yes'. As well as the Ruddster, everyone was happy with the win on the weekend. It's rumoured that ET phoned home (Simon Widjaja's house) and congratulated the Fields' skipper on the victory. Sally Robbins wrote a note to the coaching team, praising the side's 'never give in' attitude. Happiness is best shared, they say. It isn't all cakes and tea parties though. One win does not make a season like one seagull does not make a flock. From here the hard work must continue. Improvement is obviously needed, but obviously ready to happen. In no way have CGFC peaked. We're only getting started folkes. Next week we face Old Haileybury at Elsternwick Park. Apparently they have quite the star-studded line-up, but since when has that mattered? Josh Mahoney played for Skevs' on the weekend, a former Preimership player for Port Adelaide...Nevertheless, I prefer to remember him as a struggler for Williamstown in the VFL. Until next week, good luck and God speed.
