The purpose of establishing "The Fieldsmen" is mainly to acknowledge the efforts of all players who have donned the famous "Fields" jumper and also to build our supporter base to ensure that all followers of our club can be kept informed of our progress. As the third oldest club in the VAFA we have an obligation to enhance our rich history and hopefully make all past players proud of our recent rise back through the sections and aware of our plans to return to a position as one of the VAFA’s premier clubs.
