After the frustrating loss the previous week the boys turned up to our home ground determined to prove our top 4 credentials. South Melbourne were still to have a win and we were keen to extend their horror start to the year. Will Rowsthorn decided that he’d like to stand out a bit more and ran out wearing a pair of fluro green boots that looked very similar to the ones the Dermie once wore. And for second week in a row we came up against another one of Loz Franklin’s siblings. |

With the Fields up and about and Bulleen Templestowe down and out, it would appear that the round 4 clash was going to be as one sided as a 100m sprint between Richard Foote and Matt Sundberg, however the boys were very keen to not be complacent and have a red hot crack against the struggling opposition. Chris Hammond was welcomed back to the senior side and Alex Ford made his debut. Andrew Lawson and Clay Johnston made way. |

After a ground and time change the boys were pumped to finally get to play at Glenhuntly Oval, even though we were playing earlier then most Auskick Kids. A raft of changes were made from the previous week and after a great training session during the week the boys were ready to face St Mary’s Salesian, who last year played off in the Grand Final. Grant Poulter suited up for his 50th game, and Norm Nugent once again picked against us. |
