After 2 years in premier C Grade CGFC have been promoted to premier B Grade in 2010. CGFC beat Beaumaris on Saturday by 24 points in an enthralling contest at Sandringham to gain a spot in Grand Final and promotion. In a match with not much in it all day the Fields showed great resilience held their nerve to post a great result in the history of the CGFC. One of the greatest renditions of the club song was sung by the whole club in emotional scenes.

The reserves set the scene for the day with a great display against Ormond. The reserves have also booked a spot in the grand final in an exciting finale to the season.

The under 19’s lost their second semi final but live to fight another day this weekend. They play St. Kevins at Waverley Park-East Malvern to book a spot in their Grand Final.

The CGFC Club XVIII team have won the club's first Club XVIII premiership at Sportscover Arena on Sunday.

In a tight contest against Mazenod the clubbies won by 26 points. Congratulation to coach Shaun Fraser and the team on a great season.
